Hi, when i was young we lived in a house in Birmingham, England. This house was definately haunted. I think that some people are prone to see spirits and some aren't. My mom was one of the prone ones. One time, with no one in the kitchen, all the plates started shaking violently on their own with no explanation at all. She seen many ghostly things in this house, but one that sticks in my mind was when she seen a reflection (shadow) of a man with curly hair on the wall, this was a scarey encounter and my mom is not the type of person to make things up, you had to almost fall out with her so she would actually tell you about it. Ayway all i wanted to say was, from all the things she witnessed in that house, it always made me wonder what the hell that land was used for before a house was built on it. Maybe it could of been used as a graveyard or something..And when i drive past that house, ITS EMPTY! Which is very odd for that area. I think that whoever has lived there after us has seen strange things also and that's why the house is empty, no one will live there.
