Mayan 2012 Predictions - End Of The World?
If you haven't heard about the Mayans yet, here is a quick lowdown on who they were. The Mayans were an ancient civilization that lived mostly in middle and South America thousands of years ago. The Mayans were "beyond" advanced with their knowledge and accuracy of the solar system and astrology. Mayan calendars were very very complex and uniquely accurate, predicting events and changes in life, like wars, influential people, also changes in the solar and astrological system in the future to come, up to our present day.
The Mayan calendar was so advanced that even now in 2009 with all our technology the Mayans were, and still are far superior, and given the fact that they lived thousands of years ago means if they predict something, it should be taken seriously, we still haven't been able to match their accuracy even to this day, and even today, with the Mayan artifacts and ruins that survived, all of which have been studied and are still only a few seconds out! That is almost unbelievable. It's fair to say the Mayans were experts at reading the solar system and obsessed with astrology. They could predict many events by using a number system, things like the positions of planets, solar changes, lunar cycles and planet alignments.

The Mayan Calendar has 5 cycles, four have already passed, all ending in disaster. The next and last Mayan calendar cycle ends on December 21st 2012. Many people believe this last cycle will also end in disaster. Mayan, and also experts in our present day beleive that the sun will be in the galactic center and align perfectly with the earth, something that only happens every 26,000 years. This rare event could reverse or disrupt the magnetic field of the earth, this could cause ultimate disaster, not to mention every living creature on earth being exposed to the suns UV rays, which has the potential to toast everything on earth, yes including us!

What will happen on December 21st 2012 ?
No one knows for sure what will happen when this event takes place, but the Mayans beleived that this alignment in 2012 will cause the earth will be destroyed by huge earthquakes or a huge flood. The Mayans also say that after 2012, there will be a "new age", some kind of new life. What they mean by this no one knows for sure, but the Mayans did say after 2012 the earth will be "black" and many will perish.
Many people beleive this date will be a change in life, politically, as well as more natural disasters like, global warming, earthquakes, and also man made like nuclear war. Some people beleive December 21st 2012 could be a positive rebirth. The truth is no one really knows for sure. We will just have to wait and see. But i would say, i beleive something will happen, wether or not this will be on December 21st 2012 the exact day itself, or possibly a build up of events like global warming and war from now until December 21st 2012. The world is getting worse so maybe this is what the Mayans were predicting.
The thing that is most worrying for me is the alignment of the sun and earth, this event is a mystery, even our top experts on this subject agree this event will happen on that particular day - December 21st 2012. This seems like a bit too much of a coincidence to me, that the Mayans predicted that exact day and said this will be the end of days, and our experts are saying yes, the alignment falls exactly on that day.
But remember, nobody knows what will happen for definite, so don't worry too much, try and get the most out of each day and do everything you want to do, so if the end does come at least you done what you wanted to do, and if it doesn't come, well at least it give you the kick up the *ss to go out there and carry out your dreams.

The time to find out the truth about 2012 is fast approaching. And I have to say, I have been sucked into believing this stuff just as much as the next man. So if nothing happens in 2012 I will never look at another "End Date" video as long as I live. Because so much has been said about this, and so many people are certain it will be the end...Or the beginning, that if completely ZERO happens it just goes to show how much BS can be taken as truth. Is all this Mayan stuff just about making money? Some think it is.
And all this talk of the "elite" having these underground bases, D.U.M.B.S..Why would you want to live in a cave under the ground with everything destroyed on Earth. What is the point if they will never be able to re-surface?..And are these underground bases fully waterproof. What if there are mass floods in 2012, will the bases be protected. I have to be honest, the world is so messed up right now that maybe we need an event like this to take place, just to wake people up to whats important in life. Right now most are just bothered about their Blackberry, Facebook, and XFactor, and other materialistic nonsense like keeping up with the joneses and looking "perfect". People are so distracted. Rant over! ;-)
